Wine We have an excellent wine cellar, provided to us by the renowned wine merchants Tanners of Shrewsbury.

Spirits We are establishing a superb range of malt whiskys, whiskeys and specialist gins.

We offer a great range of coffees from our Bistro dining room and bar.

Two attractive seating areas, to both the front and rear of the hotel, allow you enjoy a drink and a snack outside – weather permitting!

Real Ales We always have four real ales on tap – one from the Montgomery Brewery, Monty’s, another from local brewery, Salopian and then two other guest beers. We take care to ensure that there is a different range of tastes for real ale connoisseurs from light, hoppy, fruity ones through to dark malty porter type ales. We are becoming a regular destination for real ale lovers and CAMRA members.

Craft Beers and Lagers We have craft ale on tap and a range of craft bottled beers and cans. In addition, we keep some great ciders, as well as San Miguel lager and a few standard favourites.

THE DEN

Our den has been refurbished in a Georgian style, mirroring the overall feel of Montgomery’s Town Square, which is often described as the “Georgian Gem”.

The den has wooden floors and a large, ancient fireplace, containing a wood burning stove. This gives the room a cosy, warm feel on cold Winter nights.

The den is used for a variety of purposes, such as:

Guest lounge We have an attractive seating area in the den with leather sofas for those quiet, relaxing moments.

Private dining room The den is an ideal place to book for meals for larger groups and family get-togethers etc.  It can accommodate up to 20 to 30 diners.

Events and Parties Furniture can be moved out to create more space for a special event or party.
